| Garmin nüvi 765/765T 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic
Amazon Price: $219.99 Used Price: $199.98 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 Review (rating: 4): The Garmin Nuvi 765 is great, BUT I also have the HTC Hero phone, It is NOT Bluetooth compatible with the Nuvi 765. Tech support said "Sorry". So unless they figure out a firmware upgrade, I am out-of-luck. Check the Garmin Bluetooth compatibility list if this is a requirement for your purchase.

| Garmin nüvi 285W/285WT 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator w...
Amazon Price: $119.99 Used Price: $130.00 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 Review (rating: 5): The Garmin Nuvi 285WT GPS has far exceeded my expectations for an inexpensive GPS. This nice looking unit that has a lot of features usually found on more expensive devices. Here are my observations:
Pros:
+ Easy Setup; I didn't even need to read the "Quick Start" guide to get the unit functioning
+ Text-to-Speech; Clearly speaks road names
+ Accurate Directions; Suggested routes are good and the unit recalculates quickly if you diverge
+ Bluetooth Support; Can connect to a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone to act as speaker phone (this was the main reason I bought this model)
+ Easy to Use; Easy to understand menu options makes customizing easy
+ Good Predictive Text; The unit automatically presents you with a list of choices as you enter data into the destination screen
+ Shows Posted Speed Limits; ...

| Garmin Portable Friction Mount
Amazon Price: $25.45 Used Price: $19.00 Average Customer Rating: 5.0 Review (rating: 5): Grips my dash really well. It is a great alternative when you don't want to "stick" the suction cup to the windshield.

| Garmin nüvi 260W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator
Amazon Price: $119.99 Used Price: $94.00 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 Review (rating: 5): After much research and deciding rather I really needed a GPS I bought the Nuvi 260W. I knew I wanted the wide screen and street name announce, other than that my needs were pretty basic. The 260W fits the bill. Power it up out of the box and you're ready to go. The on-screen prompts are simple to follow.
This little device makes driving to unfamiliar destinations a breeze...no more trying to follow a map or printed directions, especially at night. I also purchased the Friction-mount which makes it easy to put the GPS out of view with no suction mark on the windshield when parked in a public area.
Don't forget the one-time free map/GPS upgrade, I don't think it was well advertised in the paperwork. I learned about it reading the reviews and specifically looked for the upgrade after registering. Min...

| Garmin nüvi 205W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator
Amazon Price: $109.99 Used Price: $99.00 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 Review (rating: 5): This is a great GPS, very easy to use, and works great. It doesn't have all the features of the better models such as the GPS ability to say the street names instead of just saying "turn left", but it was far cheaper than the next model up.
I would buy it again.

| Garmin nüvi 255W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator
Amazon Price: $138.68 Used Price: $77.77 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 Review (rating: 4): As it says, this is my first sojourn into the GPS world, so I don't have anything for comparison. I am overall very pleased with the Garmin, and find t fairly easy to use. I have two wishes for a GPS that has nothing to do with the good productivity of this product. I wish that there was an option to save more than just my one home address, so that I could use several different starting or ending points without having to re-enter the address each time. The other thing which I am certain is standard among all GPS is when you turn the unit on, you have to scan through the "agreement" screens each time before loading the maps. Overall, I would buy this item again or recommend it to anyone!

| Garmin nüvi 265W/265WT 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator w...
Amazon Price: $169.99 Used Price: $129.95 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 Review (rating: 5): I absolutely love this machine. I purchased this for a trip with my dad going to places I had never been before and we easily found every hotel and/or place we wanted to see or go to. I have also used my nuvi around my town (Metro Atlanta) and have found new ways to get places that I didn't know about before. I have lived in this area for 18 years. We also used this last weekend to go to southeast Georgia and we were averted away from backed up traffic twice. The second time my husband wasn't going to listen to "Constance" (my nuvi) but received a reprieve when we ended up in the soup and were just able to get off and away from the trouble. My husband said he would never doubt Constance again. Plus I can easily answer my phone hands free without having to scramble and look for it while driving....

| Garmin nüvi 780 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with MSN...
Amazon Price: $169.00 Used Price: $173.00 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 Review (rating: 4): I bought this for my wife, who is Russian. She was very impressed that there is a Russian voice and text built in (among dozens of other languages). The system is very easy to use and the graphics are great. It has just about any POI that you could possibly want. Routes and directions are very clear, but you have to make sure you set your route preferences (as with any GPS), or you'll be driving down winding farm roads in the name of "shortest route".
When you get the system, you can do a one time free map update download, which just wasn't working. By reading some blogs, I found out that it won't work with Internet Explorer (most of the time), so I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and was finally able to download the map update (took about 2 hours). I had to restart my laptop to get the update...
